Processor And Storage

This is the Asus f510ua I can’t believe actually remember the Hat but this laptop tax power speed well sort of and affordability now what I mean by that is, this thing has an i-5 8250 you processor now the 8250 you processor is a quad-core 1.6 gigahertz processor packed in this thing which is pretty good.

It comes with 8 gigabytes of ddr4 Ram and the one that I bought comes with a one terabyte hard drive, now the only thing is this hard drive is a mechanical hard drive at 5400 pm but we’re gonna get a little upgrade.

Design And Display

Now let’s check out the design of this laptop here it looks very slim with a lightweight about 3.7 pounds and a fairly well-built laptop with a widescreen on it, and also it made from plastic it feels very hard and sturdy and it has a 15.6-inch panel with 1920 by 1080p resolution but if you look this laptop in real, having a large screen it actually makes it very very good for things like editing and even gaming.

I mean you slip this in your backpack you’re really not gonna notice that it’s even there I have something called a nano edge display which means basically that, the display actually comes really really close to the edge so that way it looks bigger.

On the other side if you’re trying to get coverage of this laptop so don’t buy 15 inches because I bought it and I refund you. Because it didn’t fit in this laptop it was – that was too large for this laptop.

Sorts And Slots

Also, there are quite a few ports on the side of this laptop there are 3 USB-A, USB C as well as HDMI, a headphone jack, and SD card reader yet, there is no port for Internet land ports so if you planned to use that so I don’t know what to say.

It has a USB 3.0 port over here it has a USB type-c port right here which I actually really like has an HDMI port here it has a headphone jack right here if you want to plug in your headphones.

On the other side, we got two other USB 2.0 ports which aren’t that bad and we actually have a media card reader right here so guys, in the beginning, I kind of said that this laptop is fast and then I said well sort.

Keyboard And Touchpad

The material of the body is the same as the material of the keyboard deck and touchpad. However, it provides a solid amount of key travel and a comfortable feel, while the keys of it aren’t especially luxurious. It also offers you premium construction, but the design of it won’t be looked at in the exact price tag.

In spite of the laptop’s compact size, the keyboard is large in every right place, along with decent size letter and number keys. The Enter keys and Backspace are much bigger, the shift key is the same as the other keys, which is typical to push sometimes, but all the time you easily push it. Considering the touchpad, it’s good enough but does not give a good enough feel like MacBook Air and XPS 13.

Connectivity

Considering connectivity, the number of full-size USB ports isn’t much big enough that you have found on a notebook, and there is no optical drive found on it. But the Asus VivoBook F510UA, you get a USB 3.1 port (Type-C), a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI port. The HDMI comes with full size, which is much better as compared to the mini-HDMI that is being usual among ultrabooks.

With a USB 3.1 Type-C connector, you can run auxiliary devices like USB monitors and storage arrays without any issue. Moreover, it also provides an SD card reader and a 3.5mm headset jack along with a webcam, but the Ethernet port isn’t included. Wireless connectivity offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

Storage

The Asus VivoBook F510UA offers 8GB memory along with 1TB 5400rpm storage. It looks like much storage space, but it’s not faster as compared to solid-state-drive (SSD) storage where you have on modern systems. Moreover, it offers an m.22280 slot on the hard drive, you can simply flip on an SSD for faster boot time.

Battery Life

While doing daily tasks such as a bit of light browsing and text editing, the ASUS VivoBook F510UA offers you 5-6 hours playback on continuous battery usage. It requires 2 hours to fully charge.

The F510UA comes with an 8th generation Intel processor that utilizes maximum power, and that’s why the battery is getting low much faster. So, it’s the minimum price to pay for getting the raw processing power that the F510UA provides you.

Are you facing overheating problems with it?

The F510UA isn’t afflicted by overheating problems. The laptop offers a strong cooling system. The load of the CPU enhanced when the fan speeded up but fortunately, it runs at lower decibels without being excessively noticeable. Providing videos for a long period of time (more than 2 hours) heats up the laptop far off its simple working routine, and due to this, a cooling pad is provided for those cases.

The ASUS VIVOBOOK F510UA is a better option for Photo and Video Editing or not?

The affordable ASUS VIVOBOOK F510UA gives more than your expectations for photo and video editing. The system doesn’t become heat while used for editing and rendering. This laptop offers a 128GB SSD that extremely improves the laptop’s performance by abbreviating rendering times approximately 80% as compared to non-SSD models of this laptop.

It provides Multimedia Performance – How much better?

It provides a bright and colorful display. Moreover, the F510UA  offers two built-in stereo speakers that give better performance for all sorts of purposes. It gives clear mids, highs, and lows from this, although, you may be dispositioning your expectations a little to go with that of a budget-oriented laptop.

Due to its audio and display, playing videos on the F510UA produces for a better time.

It also supports the F510UA for controlling multiple types of videos, also with codecs, including Full HD videos and 4K videos.

Remarks And Ratings

Actually, it’s pretty nice in this budget and definitely, you can’t expect that it has a backlight on it and the keyboard might be feeling a little bit mushy and I feel free to use it, and space between the keyboard and layout is really efficient and easy to type as you can see there’s no number pad on the right side so you might be a little bit uncomfortable with it but I’m fine.

So now let’s go to the trackpad right down below as you can see it has a fingerprint sensor on top of the trackpad so it makes you unlock your laptop more rapidly than type your password.

And I think this is plenty of functions and in general, you can use the trackpad in a smooth way without having any problem. This is also great, especially considering the price of this laptop and I personally use this trackpad instead of a mouse.

Conclusion

Overall, you get the review of a solid thin lightweight laptop that is much faster with upgrade powerful and too affordable at this price point. With these specs, you are getting a really great best budget gaming or editing laptop that you can easily carry and take where you want.

So, without wasting much time on research, if it fulfills your need so it’s a best option to go with it.
